Tequila Mom - Click to Play

First video from my trip to Mexico. Mom never does shots. But as they say, “When in Mexico, do as the American tourists do.”
I went down to meet my Mom, Dad, sister Katy, and her boyfriend (now fiancee after the trip) Torrey Teats. Katy Marie Quirk will soon be Katy Marie Teats. Insert nipple joke.
I had great video footage of Torrey proposing to Katy, but because I was unfamiliar with my new camera, and full of 11 kinds of booze, I recorded over that with footage of an iguana.
I’ll post that here soon.

Bluegrass - Click to Play

I wrote a little bluegrass ditty last night.
I won’t promise anything as productive and ambitious as a song a day, or even a song a week, but I think I’m going to try to record more music. Why? Because I can.
Also, thanks to the Indianapolis Colts for so skillfully dashing my hopes and dreams.
Again.

Last Licks - Click to Play

In accordance with Internet Videoblogging regulations, I submit a video of my cat. The whiteish one is Mary. The cheap-shot artist is Leo. One day everyone will have at least one cat videoblog.
Jay’s prediction is one step closer to reality.
(UPDATE: I found yet another new vlogger showing their cat: Amanda Congdon from Rocketboom

Maxwell’s - Click to Play

A music video type thing. Filmed in Maxwell’s bar in Hoboken, NJ. Music from the album “Dr. Goodlovin’s Family Fun Time” by Dr. Goodlovin’. They were a great band.

Charile expounds on the recent tsunami as a sign of the times:
“Jesus spoke about wars and rumors of wars, nation rising against nation, earthquakes and famines, about the sun and moon being darkened and stars falling from the sky and the heavens being shaken.
We live in some terrifying days and I personally believe that what has begun will not cease. I believe that “Peace on Earth” is a beautiful, noble but unattainable dream until the day when the Prince of Peace returns and puts an end to war forever.
The day is coming when the Islamic nations will gather together and come against Israel and one of my main concerns for America is where we will stand when that happens. Will we stand with Israel or will we go to the United Nations and pass a resolution condemning the invaders?
Does all this sound a little far-fetched and fantastic to you? Well check it out for yourself in God’s word. The place to find it is in Ezekiel, chapters 38 and 39.
Are all these things terrifying? Of course they are. When are they going to happen? I don’t know the day but I believe the season is at hand. Should we be afraid? Not if you’re a true follower of Jesus Christ.”

AA Batteries - Click to Play

After giving a beautiful homemade gift to my neighbors, we realize that we need AA batteries. Covered in red food coloring, I go out looking for some.
Things I learned from this experience:
- Sometimes cops in Evansville drive tow-trucks
- Wearing a food-coloring soaked t-shirt in 20 degree weather is uncomfortable, even if you are full of whiskey.
- People are not as willing to give batteries to an accident victim as you might think.
PS. The friggin Colts are amazing!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA!!!!
(EDITOR NOTE: I PASSED OUT AT THIS POINT FROM OVEREXCITEMENT. POST CONTINUES BELOW 15 MINUTES LATER)
I won a little money on the Colts game today and I returned a digital cam that I got for xmas, so new camcorder will be purchased soon! Go Colts! Thanks Peyton. I really really love you.

Anyone interested in getting together to watch the Patriots Vs. Colts (4:30 pm) next Sunday in NYC area email me at bullemhead@gmail.com. Watch great football (best matchup of the year), talk about videoblogging, eat, drink, etc.
(UPDATE 7:10pm: Randy Moss is an unbearable asshole. Vikings vs. Packers game was just getting interesting. Oh well.)

Holiday Gift Giving
My cousin Dan and I decided to spread some holiday cheer the old fashioned way this Christmas. We were snowed in after the historic Evansville Blizzard of 2004, so we drank some egg nog and made a beautiful gift for my neighbor. It beats anything you could buy at the fabulous Eastland Mall.
Filmed on location in scenic southern Indiana.

Evansville Christmas Slideshow - Click to Play MOV
Just a little holidayfun slideshow of some friends back home in Indiana.
Smitty is not actually a hick, he just plays one in this life.
He does like camo. And killing animals. And he drives an enormous truck. And he swears a lot.
And drinks Bud heavy.
