Our friend Jason Hertweck had one too many pulls on the absinthe bottle the other evening, followed by one too many pulls on the bourbon. So after passing out on the bench seat of our pontoon boat, he had his face assed by Smitty, subsequently referred to by the rest of us as getting “Hertwecked”.
I had to stop in the middle of editing this several times because I was crying on the keyboard.
I don’t care how old I get, seeing somebody get an ass in the face will always make me laugh.
The RSS feed has been fucked for the past few days. I switched servers and moved from Movable Type to Wordpress. Anyway, it’s working again. However, the Windows Media version is not, and probably won’t be until someone asks me for it. I hate WMV for a bunch of reasons, and if I’m going to encode a couple different versions of each video, I’d rather make the other one .3gp so people can watch it on their mobile gadget.
On another note, this alphabet project is going great. I’m up to letter “H”, and it looks like “I” shouldn’t be a problem. It’s very exciting business, this battle of attrition.
Also, allergy season is hitting us hard in the NYC area. But as Lenny pointed out, they say that every Spring: “It’s a bad year for allergies”. Luckily I’m not allergic to air, but just the stuff floating in it.

This video is from the infamous foul-mouthed Smitty. It follows the poor bastards attempt at a turkey hunt. To give him some credit there has been a lot of pressure on the birds in the area. I had only seen one Tom during my scouting on Friday. My father-in-law shot it in the face on Saturday morning. There is one picture of it in the video.
