I’m building up steam for the woodchuck.
It’s coming. Soon enough.
Meanwhile, I’ve been making things like Meat, Middle of Tape, and Professor The Internet over on Evil Vlog.

BULLEMHEAD - Click to Play

Adam and I were roommates in college for a couple of years. We watched a program called Kids in the Hall on a regular basis. I was cleaning out some shit the other day and ran across this video. It will shed some light on the Bullemhead name.

Flying Dog Brewery co-founder George Stranahan was Hunter S. Thompson’s friend and neighbor in Aspen, Colorado.
They met up with gonzo artist Ralph Steadman back in 1991 in the Woody Creek Tavern where they engaged in a meeting of minds, so to speak.
Yes, yes they were getting drunk, the kind of drunk you save for once a year…
The Golden Ticket
Gonzo Imperial Porter will be released in early June and August in a unique Gonzo illustrated four pack. We also have a collectors version of the beer available which has been signed by Ralph Steadman. One of 1500 signed bottles also contains the ‘Gonzo Golden Ticket.’
A golden ticket has been placed, ‘willie-wonka style’, inside one of containers. The ticket is an invitation for two to Hunter’s memorial at Owl Farm in Woody Creek, Colorado on Aug 20. You and a friend could be joining Hunter’s inner circle, including Willie Wonka himself, aka Johnny Depp, to witness Dr. Gonzo’s final departure from the business end of a cannon! The prize includes round trip airfares from anywhere in the continental US, two nights accommodation and transportation to and from the memorial.
As Hunter said, “Good people drink good beer.”

A Carpeted Room - Click to Play
This video is a tour of my room, which I carpeted yesterday, and in which photos are taped to the left wall, my cat and I sleep, my electric guitar sometimes hangs on the opposite wall, and the winds of freedom blow through your hay-er.
“If you build it, they will come.”

Wild Turkey Toast
Hunter S. Thompson died yesterday.
Hunter stomped terra. He marched on a road of bones.
He was a true southern gentleman and a magnificent bastard.
His writing changed journalism, and amplified the “good” part of an already loud America.
I never met Hunter, but I miss the hell out of him. We needed a Hunter S. Thompson here, and now that we don’t have one the space he occupied can’t be filled.
Hunter was a living example of controlled chaos, as evidenced by his suicide.
He’s shot tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition while on thousands of drug/alcohol binges, yet never did he kill or injure anyone but, finally and purposefully, himself. (Except for once when a ricochet sprayed some gravel at his assistant, but that wasn’t his fault.)
He was one of the good guys. I was walking down the street today after having a Wild Turkey on the rocks in honor of the good doctor and I felt genuinely sad. Like the world was a lot less interesting.
It felt like the Good Guys lost our star player, and now the Bad Guys were one step closer to closing the deal.
Rough stuff.

I apologize for the terrible quality of this post. In the future I’ll make sure the gain on my celery is turned up all the way.
Part three in the Celery Interview series includes:
Football is sexually exciting
I love the 90’s rocks
Moosejaw
This was a fun idea. Look for future interviews done with other vegetables.
