Frog Holler

Frog Holler is one of the best bands around. They play honest music, and sing honest songs. I discovered them through Nelson a couple years ago, and they’ve been in heavy rotation ever since.

Here are a couple videos from their show at Rodeo in NYC last year. I just now got around to editing them after finding the footage on my hard drive.

This is like my favorite sort of music, and this band does it really well. Sort of rough and grainy, but aesthetic. (That was my attempt at being a music critic).

    Nice editing too.

Great footage to an awesome band

Thanks so much for filming and posting these! Have yet to have the pleasure of Frog Holler shows in the UK, so this is the first time I’ve ’seen’ them play.

Sounds like NYC crowd was flown in from London (England): STFU, for cryin out loud! You’re in a room with such great music and you want to talk to your friends?!

Still, good job on the filming; nice one!

Frog Holler is the best band around that not nearly enough props is given to. From Darren’s Dylan-esc lyrics to the energy filled live shows, this is a band that is not to be missed.
    Pennsylvania’s finest.

Been seeing these guys since Darren & Mike were a duo at the local coffee shop in Kutztown when I was in college. So good that they’re still one of my favorite bands and that’s going on 10 years!

These guys tear if up wherever they go!

They are playing at the new upstairs at Johnny Brenda’s this weekend Saturday, July 14 with support by Clair Wadsworth.

Johnny Brenda’s is in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philly. Girard Ave & Frankford Ave. Doors open at 8 pm

    Favorite Holler verse:

“You left me with no choice,
    silence you have earned.

I finally found my own voice,
but you ain’t worth the words.”
