I went to Union Square for an Improv Everywhere smartmob. We took over all the windows of a building and did coordinated things like jumping jacks. 10 of us held up giant letters that read “Look Up More”.

Like Peter said, people just need someone to give them a purpose in life, even if it’s only temporary.

Everyone in DSW, including myself, got booted.
The manager had a couple big security guards with him, and I think more were in radio contact. Tight security for a shoe store.

The manager asked, “What are you doing?”
I said, “Nothing”
Then we got the signal to start doing jumping jacks.
He freaked out and called in more security on his radio, “OK, THEY’RE DOING JUMPING JACKS! GET OVER HERE!”
He had his cashier call the cops, but we got out of there before they came, if and when they came.
